farewell 2004

its been a helluva 2004.

i believe there would be a fair deal of reminiscing as we pass around the calefacient tomorrow evening (before zouk) so i shall not deign to do it here.

i contemplated blogging about my resolutions - i read somewhere that enumerating your dreams crystallizes them- but resolutions are anathema to success (or i am just lazy). maybe another time.

so i shall tell u how i feel =)

there's that feeling you get, sitting at the top of a roller coaster, when everything is still, and you're right at that point where it's all potential energy just waiting to transform into a chaotic downward rush as the cart plunges down hill.

2005 has almost arrived. there's something there, something ready to happen, and that feeling, that anticipation of the future, that sitting on the precipice, closing your eyes, and gearing up to just. let. go. weightless, you give yourself over to the momentum, and it carries you through to the end of the ride.

sometimes the cart derails and sometimes it doesn't, but it doesn't matter then

i dont care if the ride fucks up. im just looking forward to the freefall
